Test, Inspection and Observation (TIO) Module
The Test, Inspection and Observation (TIO) is a California healthcare-specific module used by the Inspector of Record, Architect of Record, and General Contractor to track the OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) TIO requirement.
The TIO tracks any revisions to the TIO document for submittal to and approval by OSHPD. It allows all project parties to input construction status for each Test Element, Special Inspection, and Milestone. Through FreightTrain’s centralized database it provides a central location for all parties to submit and review Verified Compliance Reports (VCR). Users can link existing Observation issues tracked in the COW module to their VCR. In addition, inspection requests tracked within the Inspection Request Module (IRM) can be linked to one or more TIO elements, thereby facilitating information flow and problem resolution.
